Rothchild’s practice and artwork roots from his own inner passions and interests, which are then projected into the greater world through music and visuals. His musical compositions are given a second dimension when put together with the odd animated characters from his imagination. Whether he is citing something from childhood’s past, or referencing certain motifs within fine art or music, is not certain, nor is it a point of concern.  He aims to connect with the viewer, not through intellectual understanding, but through mere delight and intrigue that does not dig further than a child’s urge to play. However this delight is juxtaposed by something vacant, something twisted, something that is just a little bit off. The audience will be immersed in his weird and childlike universe.
